In Literacy we are doing a novel study. We all had a selection of books to choose from and one of them was Black Beauty so I chose to read it. There were a few copy's of each book and people who chose the same book were in a group. Each week the group would meet up and talk about the book. After that we would all go off and over that week, would read the agreed amount of pages, and write a response about what we have read so far. It is my first time reading it and I am really enjoying it so far. I am up to chapter 18-the part where they have just been taken out of the stable because of a fire. But so far there haven't really been any bad things happen and everything has gone pretty well so I think that soon it will turn bad. It is actually a really good book and I hadn’t expected to like it this much.
