Pegakitty Sighting

Pegakitty Sighting

Two days ago a woman working in a Lavender field claimed to have seen a Pegakitty.
“ I was cutting back flowers when I saw a pair of bright green eyes looking at me. It came out of the bush and flew away.” The Pegakitty had green eyes and purple fur and feathers. The woman also said to have seen footprints the day before. But the big question is... is she telling the truth?

The Secret Forest.





This week we have been describing settings and this is what I have done.





The leaves rustled as they brushed against each other in the breeze. The water trickled down a small waterfall making only a small soundless splash as it hit the water. Tuis and Bellbirds called out to the winding river below the canopy. Vines draped over branches like curtains. Moss crept along the ground and up the trunks of trees. All the plants were binding themselves into the ground. The bushes were brightly splattered as if they had been hit with green paint.

This is Sarah. She has silky purple hair that is tied up in two buns with a flower in it. Sarah has sky blue eyes and always has her dog with her. She wears a black dress and red shoes. On her ears, sarah wheres bright blue earrings that she bought in Paris.

Sarah is very athletic. She does lots of gymnastics and dancing, and she plays netball. She has one pet dog who she spends most of her time with when she isn't playing sport. Sarah loves to hang out with her friends at the hot pools. It was where she learnt to swim when she was little.

One afternoon when Sarah was dancing her mum walked in halfway through the lesson. ‘Mum’ Sarah muttered. ‘The class isn't over yet. Why are you here?’ ‘I came to tell you that you have a dance competition tomorrow!’ her mum exclaimed excitedly. ‘You need to be at the studio by 3:00 in the morning.’ Tomorrow came far too quickly and before she new it she was waiting for her round. ‘Sarah’ the judges called her on. Her dance went really well. It ended in a perfect front walkover and started with the best pirouette she had ever done.

Amy stood on the edge of the boat watching the waves thrashing like fish in a net as they bumped into the side. She thought she saw a flash of scales in the murky water. When she came to Quail island she said under her breath “ I wish Skye was here.” waves danced over each other then up the shimmering sand. light was spilling from between the mushrooming candy floss shaped misty clouds. Amy heard a rumbling in the water then…

Bump bounce crash!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

‘Skye’ Amy yelled. ‘Amy is that you’? ‘I’ve crashed. I’ll swim back’ Skye yelled in reply. Then Amy heard screaming and Skye started swimming straight back to the broken down jet ski. Amy snatched up a old boat and sailed across the murky green water and brought Skye back to the island ‘SKye what happened’? Amy asked.
