Kitty's Chair.

Kitty has basically taken over one of the chairs in my house. It is sitting right in the sun (which explains why she loves it so much!) and she is always on it. Most of the time I see her sitting under it but sometimes I find her curled up on top. That can be really cute when I come inside and see her sitting on it. Here are some photos that I took of Kitty sitting under it the other day. (My favourite photo is the bottom one because the face that she's making is so cute!)

  1. Hi Olive. Kitty is looking very smug and I totally understand why. I’ve always said I that I was a cat in my previous life as I’m like Kitty I’ll find any little bit of sun hahaha. Sitting in the sun is like a dose of medicine. I’m sure cats must feel like that as well. Kitty is obviously a very important part of your family she’s very lucky to be so loved.

  2. Hi Olive. Your cat is very cute sitting in the sunshine. I had a cat but you know what happens. She used to always do that. She'd sit on the couch and just stay there. Your cat must get lots of attention.

  3. Kia ora Olive, I used to have a cat similar to Kitty and his name was Pepper. Looks like Kitty has found a place in the sun and loves it. What will Kitty do when you and Elliot head back to school? I think some of our pets have had a lot of attention during the lockdown. It's funny how cats find wee spots to sit in. Nice clear photos too - Kitty is very photogenic! Elizabeth K

    1. Hi Elizabeth, I don't know what she has been doing while we are at school, she might be bored without me playing with her.

  4. Hi Olive, I am sure that Kitty is missing you now that you are back at school. Your photos are just beautiful, you have captured the happiness on Kitty's face so well, she almost looks like she is smiling with happiness. I don't blame her one bit finding that cosy spot in the sun, I would love to do that all day too.

  5. Hi Olive. You’ve taken some beautiful pics of Kitty. We have a cat called Patches who gets that same cat smile on his face when he finds a cosy spot in the sun.
Now that you’re back at school Kitty will probably miss you... you might have to give some extra love and attention when you get home.
I hope your first week back goes well and you and your friends enjoy it.

  7. Morena olive. I really liked looking at your pictures of your cat. This reminds me of the time my cat was sitting in the sunroom on the chair that had the most sun and since then it has always been his chair. To improve you could tell me some more information. What else were you and your cat doing in lockdown. Nga mihi jade.

  8. Morena Olive, i love the pictures of your cat i wish i had one,
You reminded me of when I was at my friends house and his cat wouldn’t leave his mums favourite chair and when he tried to pick him up the cat just clinged on to the chair. Next time you could show us some pics of it on top of the chair.
